Holland Patent is a small village located in Oneida County, New York, in the United States. In 2020, about 416 people lived there. The village got its name from a special land grant. It is found in the western part of the town called Trenton. You can find it where routes 274, 291, and 365 meet.

In 1797, a person named Gerrit Boon helped create the village of Holland Patent. He worked for the Holland Land Company. This company bought large areas of land as investments. Gerrit Boon's job was to help develop and sell this land.
