The Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson, Missouri, is a cool two-story building. It's full of lifelike wax figures of famous people! You can find it right on Highway 76.

This museum is part of the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center. It's run by the family of its founder, Spoony Singh.

Since opening in 1996, it's been a very popular spot for photos! Outside, you'll see a giant 150-foot-long display. It looks like a Hollywood version of Mount Rushmore.

Big Changes and Awards

In 2009, the museum got a huge upgrade that cost $5 million. They added a giant 40-foot ape, called the Great Ape of Branson. Because of these improvements, the museum won the 2011 Branson Beautification Award.

The owners also added other fun attractions around the museum. These include the Castle of Chaos, Hannah's Maze of Mirrors, and Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf.

Community Involvement

In 2016, the museum became a founding member of the 76 Entertainment Community Improvement District (CID). This group helps improve the Highway 76 area. The museum is part of the first plans to make the highway even better.

Inside the museum, you'll find many wax figures and movie sets. These displays of celebrities change often, so there's always something new to see.

After your visit, you can stop by the souvenir store. It's the biggest shop in the area for celebrity merchandise!
