The Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson, Missouri, is a super fun place where you can see lifelike wax figures of your favorite celebrities! It's a two-story building filled with famous faces from movies, music, and TV. Imagine taking a selfie with a movie star, even if it's just their wax double!
About the Museum
This museum is part of a bigger entertainment area called the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center. It's run by the family of the person who started the very first Hollywood Wax Museum.
Since it opened in 1996, many people have visited and taken pictures here. It even has a huge 150-foot-long display outside that looks like a Hollywood version of Mount Rushmore!
In 2009, the museum got a big makeover that cost $5 million. They added a giant 40-foot-tall ape, known as the Great Ape of Branson, which is super cool to see. Because of these awesome changes, the museum won the Branson Beautification Award in 2011. The owners also added other exciting attractions around the museum, like the Castle of Chaos, Hannah's Maze of Mirrors, and Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf. This makes it a great place for a whole day of fun!
What You Can See
Inside the Hollywood Wax Museum, you'll find many different wax figures and cool sets. The celebrities on display change often, so there's always something new to see! You might spot your favorite superhero, a famous singer, or a classic movie star.
After exploring the museum, you can visit the souvenir store. It's the biggest shop in the area for celebrity merchandise, so you can find lots of cool items to remember your visit.
