Homeworth is a small community in Ohio, United States. It's located in Columbiana County, within Knox Township. In 2020, about 492 people lived there. Homeworth is considered part of the Salem micropolitan area and has its own post office. It's about 16.5 miles east of Canton.

History of Homeworth
People started settling in the area that is now Homeworth around 1840. Homeworth was officially planned out in 1851. This happened when the Cleveland and Pittsburgh Railroad tracks were extended to this spot.
Before it was called Homeworth, the community had other names like Winchester and Sandy. A post office named Sandy was opened in 1830. Later, in 1869, the name of the post office and the community was changed to Homeworth.
Geography of Homeworth
Homeworth is located in the northwestern part of Columbiana County. It sits in the southwestern area of Knox Township. The community is found in the valley of Middle Sandy Creek, close to where the creek begins.
The elevation of Homeworth is about 1,155 feet (352 meters) above sea level. The city of Alliance is about 7 miles to the northwest. Salem is about 12 miles to the northeast. Canton is about 18 miles to the west.
