Hookstown is a small town, called a borough, in western Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States. It's part of the larger Pittsburgh metropolitan area. In 2020, about 129 people lived there.

History of Hookstown
Hookstown got its name from Matthias Hook and his family. Matthias Hook was an early settler and a soldier in the Revolutionary War.
Today, the McCormick family are the only known relatives of Matthias Hook still living in Hookstown. They also live in nearby areas of western Pennsylvania.
Many people across the United States can trace their family roots back to Matthias Hook. This is through his daughter, Catherine Hook, who married George Griffey. The Griffey family has held a reunion every June for over a hundred years.
In 1975, a large waste storage area called Little Blue Run Lake was built near Hookstown. It holds waste from coal mining. This site has caused environmental issues for the communities around it.
Where is Hookstown?
Hookstown is located in western Beaver County. Its exact location is 40°35′56″N 80°28′27″W / 40.59889°N 80.47417°W.
Pennsylvania Route 168 is a main road that goes through the town. This road goes northeast about 3 miles (5 km) to Shippingport, which is a town on the Ohio River. It also goes south about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to U.S. Route 30, also known as the Lincoln Highway.
The United States Census Bureau says that Hookstown covers a total area of about 0.14 square miles (0.35 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
