Hopkins is a small village in Allegan County, Michigan, in the United States. It was once known as Hopkins Station. In 2020, 615 people lived there.

History of Hopkins
The story of Hopkins began in 1854 when John Hoffmaster settled in the area. On May 20, 1854, the first post office opened. Erastus Congdon was its first postmaster.
Later, a railroad depot opened in 1874. This place was called Hopkins Station. John Hoffmaster became the first person in charge of the depot. He also planned out the village.
The original Hopkins post office closed in 1904. Then, in 1906, the Hopkins Station post office changed its name to just Hopkins. The village officially became an incorporated village in 1920.
