Hugh O'Conor (born 19 April 1975) is an Irish actor, writer, and director. He is also a talented photographer. In 2020, he was named one of Ireland's top film actors by The Irish Times.

Hugh O'Conor started acting when he was young. His first movie role was in 1985. He acted alongside Liam Neeson in a film called Lamb.
Early Success and Awards
In 1990, Hugh won a Young Artist Awards. This was for his role in the famous movie My Left Foot. In the film, he played the younger version of Christy Brown. Christy Brown was an Irishman who had cerebral palsy. He could only control his left foot.
