Humaira Nusrat Himu (known as Humaira Himu) was a talented actress from Bangladesh. She was born on November 23, 1985, and passed away on November 2, 2023. Humaira Himu was well-known for her work in television shows and movies.
She first appeared in a film called Amar Bondhu Rashed in 2011. She also acted in many popular TV dramas. Some of these include DB, Sanghat, and Chairman Bari.
Early Life and Theatre Work
Humaira Himu was born in Lakshmipur District on November 23, 1985. She was the only child of Sana Ullah and Shamim Ara Chowdhury. Himu started acting in theatre plays when she was young.
She worked with local theatre groups like HiFi Koutuk Shilpogoshthi. She also joined Friends Natyogoshthi. In 1999, after finishing her school exams, she moved to Dhaka. There, she continued her theatre work with groups such as Nagorik Natyangan.
Acting Career Highlights
Himu spent most of her career acting in television dramas. Her first TV drama was called 'PI'. She made her movie debut in 2011.
In the film Amar Bondhu Rashed, she played the role of "Toru Apa". She became a familiar face on Bangladeshi television.
Her Passing
Humaira Himu passed away on November 2, 2023. She was 37 years old. She was buried next to her mother's grave in Lakshmipur.
