Idrottsklubben Sleipner, often called IK Sleipner, is a sports club from Norrköping, Sweden. The main sports played at the club are football and ten-pin bowling.
The club was started in 1903. It was named after Sleipnir, a magical horse from Norse mythology that belonged to the god Odin. Today, the club's main men's football team plays in Division 2.
IK Sleipner is most famous for winning the top Swedish football league, Allsvenskan, in 1938. However, since then, their local rivals IFK Norrköping have become more well-known. In the early 1900s, the rivalry between the two Norrköping clubs was very strong. IK Sleipner was seen as the team for working people, while IFK Norrköping was for people from more academic backgrounds.
The club is part of the Östergötland Football Association. In the early 20th century, IK Sleipner also had a bandy team. They even hold a record for having 7 different players score goals in one game against Cuba in 1938!
