Ion Television (also known as ion TELEVISION) is a TV channel in the United States. It shows many different kinds of programs. The channel is owned by ION Media Networks.

Ion Television first started broadcasting on August 31, 1998. Back then, it was called PAX TV. Later, on July 1, 2005, its name changed to i: Independent Television. Finally, on January 29, 2007, it became known as Ion Television. As of 2010, about 99 million homes across the U.S. could watch Ion Television. This means it reached a very large audience.
