They finished in 6th place. Percy and Mitchell also won a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2005 European Championships.
Teaming Up with Andrew Simpson
Percy later began sailing with a new partner, Andrew Simpson. Together, they became a very successful team in the Star class. They won a bronze medal at the 2007 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2009 European Championships.

Their final Olympic competition together was the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In a very close and exciting race, they won the silver medal. They were just beaten by the Swedish team of Fredrik Lööf and Max Salminen.
When he is not competing, Percy is a member of the Hayling Island Sailing Club and often sails there.
The America's Cup Challenge
