Ian Robert Lacey (born 25 November 1984) is a former professional rugby league player from Australia. He played as a forward for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. Later, he also played for the Ipswich Jets in the Queensland Cup.

Ian Lacey's Rugby League Journey
Early Career with the Broncos
Ian Lacey started his top-level rugby league career with the Brisbane Broncos. He made his first-grade debut in 2006. This exciting first game was against the Sydney Roosters. The Broncos won that match with a score of 24-6.
Ian Lacey played for the Broncos for a couple of seasons. He was a forward, which means he played in a position that often involves a lot of strength and tackling.
Moving to the Queensland Cup
After his time with the Brisbane Broncos, Ian Lacey joined the Ipswich Jets. This team plays in the Queensland Cup, which is a strong rugby league competition in Queensland, Australia. He played for the Jets starting in 2008.
Trying for the NRL Again
In 2009, Ian Lacey had a chance to return to the NRL. The Gold Coast Titans club signed him, hoping he could play for their first-grade team. However, he did not get to play any first-grade games for the Titans.
Representative Games
