The Imlay Creek is a river that flows all year round. It is part of the Genoa River system. This creek is found in the South Coast area of New South Wales, Australia.
Where Does Imlay Creek Start and End?
Imlay Creek begins near Mount Imlay. This area is inside the beautiful Mount Imlay National Park. The creek first flows north, then turns south.
It eventually joins another river called the Wallagaraugh River. This meeting point, known as a confluence, is located northwest of a place called Timbillica.
How Long and Steep is Imlay Creek?
The Imlay Creek flows for about 20 km (12 mi) (12.4 miles). From its start to where it meets the Wallagaraugh River, the creek drops 166 metres (545 ft) (545 feet) in height. This means it flows downhill quite a bit along its path.
