Ingrid Jensen (born January 12, 1966) is a talented Canadian jazz trumpeter. She is known for her amazing trumpet playing and her unique jazz style.

Ingrid Jensen's Musical Journey
Ingrid Jensen was born in North Vancouver, Canada. She grew up in a place called Nanaimo. From a young age, she loved music. She even earned a special scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music in Boston. This is a very famous music school!
Early Career and First Album
After finishing college, Ingrid began her exciting musical journey. She toured with the Vienna Art Orchestra, a well-known music group. When she was just 25, she also taught music in Austria.
In 1994, Ingrid returned to the United States. She became a member of the DIVA Big Band. This is an all-female jazz orchestra. In the same year, she released her very first album. It was called Vernal Fields and it won a Juno Award! This is a big music award in Canada.
