Inishbeg facts for kids
Inishbeg or Inish beg is a special name given to several islands in Ireland. In the Irish language, "Inis Beag" means "small island." Most of these islands don't have anyone living on them.

There are a few different islands named Inishbeg across Ireland. Here are some of them:

Inishbeg in County Cork
One of the most well-known Inishbeg islands is in County Cork. This island used to be completely surrounded by water, but now it's connected to the mainland by a bridge. This bridge helps people get to and from the island easily, joining it to the R595 road. Inishbeg is also part of a group of many islands called Carbery's Hundred Isles.
