Inmaculada Cuesta Martínez (born June 25, 1980) is a Spanish actress. She has starred in many films and TV shows. Some of her well-known movies include The Sleeping Voice (2011) and The Bride (2015).
On television, she is famous for her roles in Águila Roja and Arde Madrid.

Early Life and Education
Inmaculada Cuesta Martínez was born in Valencia, Spain, on June 25, 1980. Her parents were from Andalusia. Inma spent her childhood in Arquillos, a town in the province of Jaén.
Her father worked as an upholsterer. Inma used to collect leftover fabric from him. She would make handbags and sell them to help pay for her studies.
When she was 18, she moved to Córdoba. There, she studied at the School of Dramatic Art. After finishing her studies, she continued her acting training in Seville. In 2005, she moved to Madrid. She joined a performing arts school run by Carmen Roche.
Acting Career Highlights
After moving to Madrid, Inma Cuesta started her acting journey in theater. She starred in the musical Hoy no me puedo levantar. This was a big step for her.
Her first main role on television was in the series Amar en tiempos revueltos. She played Elisa, a humble girl who became a famous singer.

In early 2012, Inma was nominated for a Goya Award. This was for Best Actress in The Sleeping Voice. That year, she also worked on the film Unit 7. She acted with Mario Casas in this movie.
She also played Carmen de Triana in Blancanieves. This was a unique silent and black-and-white film. It was based on the fairy tale Snow White.

In 2025, Inma Cuesta married her partner, Ángeles Maeso. Ángeles is a screenwriter and producer. They have two children together.
Advocacy and Beliefs
Inma Cuesta is known for supporting feminist causes. She believes that women, especially actresses, should lead more stories. She thinks women should not disappear from film as they get older.
She has also supported campaigns like "Tu silla, tu refugio". This campaign helps refugees.
In 2015, Inma spoke out against photoshopping in magazines. She posted on Instagram about an image of herself. She questioned the "beauty standards" that people are expected to follow. She called for "freedom from trends and stereotypes." Inma said she felt "indignant" as a woman. She was against changing photos with Photoshop. She showed the original photo next to the edited one.
