Inna Zhukova (born on September 6, 1986, in Krasnodar, Soviet Union) is a talented Belarusian rhythmic gymnast. She won a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics in the individual all-around competition. She also earned a bronze medal at the 2006 Grand Prix Final for her all-around performance.

Inna's Gymnastics Journey

Starting Young

Inna Zhukova began her rhythmic gymnastics training in 1990 when she was just four years old. She became interested in the sport because her older sister was also a gymnast. Inna first trained in Russia. Later, she was invited to train in Belarus with a famous coach named Irina Leparskaya. Coach Leparskaya has helped many top gymnasts achieve their dreams.

Inna made her first appearance in international competitions in 2001.

Olympic Moments

Athens 2004 Olympics

Inna competed at the Athens Olympics in 2004. She finished in 7th place in the individual all-around competition. This was a great achievement for her early career.

Beijing 2008 Olympics

At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Inna Zhukova showed amazing skill. She qualified for the finals and then won the silver medal in the all-around competition. This was a highlight of her career.

After the Olympics

After the Beijing 2008 Olympics, Inna decided to stop competing professionally. However, she still performed in special gymnastics shows sometimes. For example, she appeared at the LA Lights event in February 2009.

Life After Gymnastics

After retiring from competitive gymnastics, Inna Zhukova started a new career as a coach. By 2014, she was coaching the Belarusian junior team. She worked alongside her former teammate, Liubov Charkashyna.

In 2020, Inna signed a public letter from Belarusian athletes. This letter showed support for her country's government.
