The Inner Holm of Skaw is a small, uninhabited islet located off the northern tip of Whalsay island. It is part of the Shetland Islands in Scotland, found just north of the village of Skaw. An islet is a very small island.

Just a bit further out to sea from Inner Holm of Skaw, you'll find another rocky islet. This one is known as the Outer Holm of Skaw. The Inner Holm of Skaw also has the remains of an old, ruined chapel.
Wildlife on the Islet
Even though it's small, the Inner Holm of Skaw is a home for some wildlife. For example, in 1955, a pair of Sandwich terns decided to build their nest and raise their young on the islet. These birds are known for their distinctive calls and sleek appearance.
