Ira Edmondson Terrell (born June 19, 1954) is a former American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the SMU Mustangs. Later, he played professionally in the NBA.

He attended Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Texas. After high school, Ira went to Southern Methodist University (SMU). He played college basketball for the SMU Mustangs from 1972 to 1976.
