Irene Cruz: Her Journey in Art
Irene Cruz has a fascinating journey in the world of art. She started by studying at the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain. There, she earned two degrees: one in Advertising and Public Relations, and another in Audiovisual Communication.
Learning More About Photography
After her university studies, Irene wanted to learn even more about photography. In 2011, she completed a special master's degree at EFTI, focusing on Conceptual Photography and Artistic Creation. This helped her develop her unique artistic style. Later, in 2013, she received a scholarship to study how light is used in movies. This course taught her how to be a director of photography, which is a very important role in filmmaking.
Developing Her Artistic Style
After finishing her studies, Irene Cruz began her professional career. She developed a special style that often features mystery, privacy, and nature. Light is a super important part of her work, making her photos and videos stand out. She started as a photographer and then also became a video artist, creating moving images with a similar artistic feel.
Working in Movies
In 2017, Irene took on a big role as the director of photography for her first full-length movie, Diana.
