Isaac Yamma (1940 – January 1990) was a talented country singer from central Australia. He was one of the first musicians in Australia to become well known for singing Western-style songs in an Indigenous language. Isaac was a Pitjantjatjara man. He was born near a waterhole close to Docker River.

Isaac Yamma's Musical Journey
Isaac Yamma started his music career in a band called the Areyonga Desert Tigers. Later, he formed his own band, the Pitjantjatjara Country Band. This band included his sons Hector, Frank, Peter, and Paul. His cousin Russell Yamma was also a member. Most of Isaac's songs were sung in the Pitjantjatjara language.
