Isaiah Mobley was born on September 24, 1999. He is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Summer League.
Mobley played college basketball for the USC Trojans. He went to Rancho Christian School in Temecula, California. There, he was a top player, known as a five-star recruit. He was also chosen as a McDonald's All-American. In his junior year at USC, he was named first-team All-Pac-12.

High School Basketball Journey
Isaiah Mobley went to Rancho Christian School in Temecula, California. In his first year, he helped his team win the CIF Southern Section (CIF-SS) Division 5A title. This was the school's first championship in any sport. He also led his team to the CIF Division V Southern California Regional final.
Mobley averaged 16.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game that year. He was named co-player of the year for CIF-SS Division 5A. He also made the The Press-Enterprise All-Area second team. During the summer, he played for the Compton Magic, a well-known travel team.
Playing with His Brother
In his second year, Isaiah's younger brother, Evan Mobley, joined the Rancho Christian basketball team. Isaiah helped his team reach the CIF-SS Division 2A semifinal.
In his third year, Mobley averaged 19.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, and four assists per game. He was named The Press-Enterprise player of the year. He also made the USA Today All-USA California second team. Rancho Christian finished with a great 29–5 record.
As a senior, Mobley averaged 19.4 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. His team had a 26–6 record. He was named to the All-USA California first team. Mobley also played in the 2019 McDonald's All-American Game.
Choosing a College Team
Mobley received offers from many top college basketball programs. These included San Diego State and Nevada. On May 28, 2018, he decided to play college basketball for USC. By the time he finished high school, Mobley was seen as a five-star recruit. He was also considered the best player in California from the 2019 class.

College Basketball Career
In his first game for USC, Mobley scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds. This helped the Trojans win 77–48 against Florida A&M. He had 15 points and nine rebounds in a game against Marquette.
As a freshman, Mobley started eight games. He averaged 6.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. In his second year, he averaged 9.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
On April 17, 2021, he said he would enter the 2021 NBA draft. However, he decided to stay in college and withdrew from the draft in July. As a junior, he averaged 14.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. Mobley was named first-team All-Pac-12 that year. On April 11, 2022, Mobley entered the 2022 NBA draft. He decided not to return to college.
Professional Basketball Career
Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Charge (2022–2024)
The Cleveland Cavaliers picked Isaiah Mobley with the 49th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. On July 2, 2022, the Cavaliers signed him to a two-way contract. This type of contract means he split his time playing for the Cavaliers and their NBA G League team, the Cleveland Charge. Mobley was chosen to play in the G League's first-ever Next Up Game during the 2022–23 season.
On July 7, 2023, Mobley signed another two-way contract with the Cavaliers.
During the 2023 NBA Summer League, Mobley played well. He averaged 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks in six games. He led his team to win the Summer League championship game. In that game, he scored 28 points and had 11 rebounds.
Delaware Blue Coats and Philadelphia 76ers (2024–2025)
On September 30, 2024, Mobley signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. However, he was waived by the team on October 17. On October 28, he joined the Delaware Blue Coats, which is the G League team for the 76ers.
On April 13, 2025, Mobley signed with the 76ers again. This happened just before the end of their season.
Golden State Warriors Summer League (2025)
On July 2, 2025, Mobley signed to play for the Golden State Warriors in the Summer League.

About His Family
Isaiah Mobley's father, Eric, also played college basketball. He played for Cal Poly Pomona and Portland. Eric Mobley then played professional basketball in other countries. Later, he coached Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball for 11 years. In 2018, he became an assistant basketball coach for USC.
Isaiah's younger brother is Evan Mobley. They played basketball together in high school and college. Evan was drafted by the same NBA team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, one year before Isaiah.
