Eric Isaiah Mobley (born September 24, 1999) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Delaware Blue Coats in the NBA G League. Before turning pro, he played college basketball for the USC Trojans. In high school, he was a highly-rated player and even chosen as a McDonald's All-American.

High School Basketball
Isaiah Mobley went to Rancho Christian School in Temecula, California. As a freshman, he helped his team win the CIF Southern Section Division 5A title. This was the first time the school had won a championship in any sport! He averaged 16.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game that year.
When he was a sophomore, his younger brother, Evan Mobley, joined the team. In his junior year, Isaiah averaged 19.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, and four assists per game. He was named The Press-Enterprise player of the year.
As a senior, Mobley continued to play great, averaging 19.4 points and 13.6 rebounds. He was chosen to play in the 2019 McDonald's All-American Game. This game features the best high school basketball players in the country. Many experts thought he would be a top pick in the 2020 NBA draft.
Before starting high school, Mobley already had offers from big college basketball programs. In 2018, he decided to play college basketball for USC. By the time he finished high school, he was considered one of the top basketball recruits in California.
College Basketball Career
Isaiah Mobley started his college career strong at USC. In his very first game, he scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds. As a freshman, he averaged 6.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
In his second year, he improved, averaging 9.9 points and 7.3 rebounds. After his sophomore season, he thought about entering the 2021 NBA draft, but he decided to stay at USC for another year.
As a junior, Mobley had his best college season. He averaged 14.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. He was named to the first-team All-Pac-12, which means he was one of the best players in his college conference. After this great season, he decided to enter the 2022 NBA draft.
Professional Basketball Career
Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Charge (2022–2024)
In the 2022 NBA draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers picked Isaiah Mobley as the 49th overall player. He signed a special "two-way contract" with the Cavaliers. This type of contract allows a player to split their time between an NBA team and its minor league team. For Mobley, this meant playing for both the Cavaliers and their NBA G League team, the Cleveland Charge.
In 2023, he was chosen to play in the G League's first-ever Next Up Game. He signed another two-way contract with the Cavaliers in July 2023.
During the 2023 NBA Summer League, Mobley played very well. He averaged 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. He even led his team to win the Summer League championship, scoring 28 points and getting 11 rebounds in the final game.
Delaware Blue Coats (2024–present)
In September 2024, Mobley signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, but he was later waived. On October 28, 2024, he joined the Delaware Blue Coats, another team in the NBA G League.

Personal Life
Isaiah Mobley comes from a basketball family. His father, Eric Mobley, played college basketball and then played professionally in other countries. Later, his father became an assistant basketball coach for USC.
Isaiah's younger brother, Evan Mobley, also plays professional basketball. Both brothers played together in high school and college. Evan was even drafted by the same NBA team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, one year before Isaiah.
