Isam Bachiri was born in 1977 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a Muslim and his family comes from the Riffian people. When he was young, Isam found his passion for music. He was inspired by the exciting new hip hop music scene that was growing in America.

His Music Journey

Forming Outlandish

From 1997 to 2017, Isam Bachiri was part of a Danish hip-hop group called Outlandish. He started the group with Waqas Ali Qadri and Lenny Martinez. The group used their different backgrounds and cultures to create unique music. Their songs often reflected their beliefs, especially the Islamic faith of two of the band members.

Solo Career and New Songs

After his time with Outlandish, Isam Bachiri began working on his own music. He has released several albums and singles as a solo artist. His music often combines hip hop and electronic sounds.

'Ramadan in Copenhagen' Song

In May 2019, a special meeting took place in Denmark. Artists gathered to suggest songs for a famous Danish songbook called the Højskolesangbogen.
