Isidro Ayora is a town in central Guayas, Ecuador. It used to be called Soledad. The town is named after Isidro Ayora, who was a president of Ecuador.
Isidro Ayora is the main town, or seat, of the Isidro Ayora canton. A canton is like a county or a district. This canton is the newest one in the Guayas province. It was created in 1996.
In 2022, a count of the people, called a census, showed that the Isidro Ayora Canton had 14,305 residents. The town itself had a population of 8,275 people.
Farmers in this area grow many important crops. The main crops are rice, maize (which is corn), mangos, and watermelons. These crops are very important for the local economy.

The climate in Isidro Ayora is generally warm throughout the year. The town is located about 20 meters (66 feet) above sea level.
The warmest months are usually from December to April, with average high temperatures around 31-32 degrees Celsius (88-90 degrees Fahrenheit). The cooler months are from June to August, with average high temperatures around 30-31 degrees Celsius (86-88 degrees Fahrenheit).
