Iván Crespo's Football Journey
Early Career and First Steps
Iván Crespo was born in Santander, a city in Cantabria. He started his senior football journey with CD Tropezón. This was the C-team of his local club, Racing de Santander. In his early years, he played in both the Segunda División B and the Tercera División. These are different levels of professional football in Spain.
He played for several clubs during this time. These included Real Murcia Imperial, Águilas CF, Lorca Deportiva CF, Lucena CF, and Gimnástica de Torrelavega.
Moving Up to Professional Leagues
On July 5, 2012, Iván Crespo joined CD Mirandés. This team had just been promoted to the Segunda División. This is the second-highest professional football league in Spain. On September 11, he played his first professional match. It was a Copa del Rey game against Recreativo de Huelva. His team won 2–0 at home.
Time with Deportivo Alavés
On January 2, 2013, Crespo moved to Deportivo Alavés. This club was in the third division at the time. He played 20 games for them in his first season. This included important playoff matches.
