Júlia Isabelle Bergmann (born February 21, 2001) is a talented Brazilian-German volleyball player. She plays as an outside hitter, which is a key attacking position. Since 2019, she has been a part of the Brazil women's national volleyball team. Her brother, Lukas Bergmann, also plays volleyball for the Brazilian men's national team.

Early Life and Moving to Brazil
Júlia Bergmann was born in Munich, Germany. Her mother is Brazilian, and her father is German. When Júlia was about 10 years old, her family moved to Brusque, Brazil in 2011. Her parents wanted Júlia and her brother to experience a new country. They hoped their children would learn a different culture and language. This move helped Júlia become fluent in German, Portuguese, and English.
Both of Júlia's parents played volleyball. This inspired her to start playing the sport in fifth grade. After just two years, she was good enough to represent her city. She played in high-level tournaments. Later, Júlia decided to go to college in the United States. She chose Georgia Tech because she wanted to play volleyball and study physics.
Volleyball Career

Júlia joined the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets volleyball team in 2019. She quickly became a star player. In her first year, she led the team in "kills," which are successful attacks that score points. She was also named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Freshman of the Year.
In 2021, as a junior, Júlia helped her team reach the final eight of the NCAA Division I women's volleyball tournament. This was a huge achievement, as it was the first time in 18 years the team got that far. For her amazing performance, she was named an AVCA First Team All-American. She also earned the title of ACC Player of the Year in 2021. She was one of the top players in the entire NCAA for points and kills.

Playing for Brazil's National Team
Júlia had a choice to play for either the Brazilian or German national team. She decided to play for Brazil while still in college. Her first game for the Brazilian national team was at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. She helped her team win a silver medal. She also played in the 2019 Pan American Games.
In May 2022, Júlia was chosen for the 25-player roster for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League tournament. In her first game as a starting outside hitter, she was the top scorer. This helped Brazil defeat Germany.
