Jacelyn Tay Siew Cheng (born on June 12, 1975) is a well-known person from Singapore. She is a health coach, a businesswoman, and used to be an actress.
In the 2000s, Jacelyn became very famous. She won the Star Awards for Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes seven times. She was also nominated five times for the Star Awards for Best Actress.
Jacelyn also wrote books. In 2004, she published Feel Good Look Good with Jacelyn. In 2005, she released Make-up for Asian Women. She started her own wellness company, Body Inc. Holistic Wellness Centre, in 2006. Today, she works as a wellness coach. She is also a registered BFR practitioner, which means she helps people with a special exercise method.

Jacelyn Tay's Career Journey
Starting as an Actress
Jacelyn Tay began her career by winning a big competition. In 1995, she was crowned the female champion of the Star Search Singapore contest. This competition helps find new acting talent.
After winning, Jacelyn joined TCS, which later became MediaCorp. She quickly became a leading actress in many TV shows. She won the award for Star Awards for Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes seven times. This was between 1998 and 2005. At the Star Awards 1999, she also won the Most Popular Female Artiste award in Taiwan. She was more popular than other famous actresses like Zoe Tay and Fann Wong.
Jacelyn played many memorable characters. She was 'He Xiangu' in the TV series Legend of the Eight Immortals. She also played Dongfang Bubai in The Legendary Swordsman. This role earned her first nomination for the Star Awards for Best Actress award. Jacelyn has been nominated for Best Actress five times in total. She holds the record for the most Best Actress nominations without a win, along with Jesseca Liu.
Moving On from Acting
Jacelyn decided to leave MediaCorp in 2006. She wanted to focus more on her wellness company.
However, she did return to acting for a short time. In 2012, she acted in two MediaCorp Channel 8 dramas: Pillow Talk and Game Plan. In 2015, she took on a role as the villain Irene in the musical drama Crescendo.
Jacelyn Tay's Personal Life
On October 10, 2010, Jacelyn Tay married Brian Wong. They had been together for two years. In 2011, Jacelyn gave birth to their son, Zavier Wong. On November 18, 2018, Jacelyn shared that she and Brian were getting a divorce.
