Zander Tyler (born February 22, 1982), known by his stage name Jack Parow, is a South African rapper. He has worked with many other South African artists, like Die Heuwels Fantasties, Die Antwoord, and Francois Van Coke.

Starting Out as a Rapper

Jack Parow dreamed of being a rapper since he was in primary school. He used to rap with his friend Keagan Cloete. Some of his early inspirations included Snoop Dogg and T-Pain. He first started rapping in English, but soon found that he preferred to rap in Afrikaans.

First Hits and Collaborations

His first big hit songs were Cooler as Ekke and jeffalingaling. These songs became popular with help from his friends in the band Die Heuwels Fantasties. He also worked with them on their song called Die Vraagstuk. Since then, Jack Parow has released several studio albums and performed concerts all over the world.

Books and TV Shows

In 2015, a book about Jack Parow was released. It was called Die Ou Met die Snor by die Bar and was written by artist Theunis Engelbrecht.

In 2016, Jack Parow and his friend Hardus van Deventer made a TV show. It was called Dis Hoe Ons Rol and had nine episodes. The show aired from July to August 2016 on the Kyknet TV channel. They filmed the show over 30 days, and Jack Parow performed in every one of South Africa's nine provinces.

Family Life

Jack Parow has a daughter named Ruby Tyler, who was born in 2012. Ruby was the inspiration for his 2014 song "Dis Befok." She even helped film the music video for the 2016 remix of the song using a camera on her chest!
