Jackie Guerrido (born September 24, 1970) is a well-known Puerto Rican television weather presenter and journalist. She is famous for her work on Primer Impacto on Univision and also hosts Despierta America en Domingo.

Growing Up in Puerto Rico
Jackie Guerrido was born and grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She went to school there for her early education. When she was seven years old, Jackie and her sister lived with their mother for a time at a special home called "Casa Protegida Julia de Burgos" in San Juan, which helps families. After finishing high school, she moved with her family to The Bronx in New York City.
Starting Her Career
Before Jackie became famous in television, she was interested in other types of work.
One day, a producer heard her doing a voice-over and offered her a job on a morning show called El Vacilon de la Mañana ("Good times in the morning") at WSKQ radio. Soon after, she got another offer from WRMA (106.7) in Miami, which she accepted.
Jackie settled in Miami and joined the HBC Radio Company. After working at "Romance" for a year, she got the chance to co-host a radio show. She would share news and traffic updates. Eventually, she even got her own music show at WRTO (98.3). At the same time, she started working in television as a traffic reporter for WSCV, which is Miami's Telemundo channel.
Becoming a Weather Expert
Univision noticed Jackie Guerrido's talent and offered her a job as the weather presenter for Al Amanacer de Noticias 23 ("Morning News at Channel 23"). This was the morning show for Univision's main channel, WLTV. To become even better at her job, she studied meteorology at the University of Miami.
For many years, Jackie presented the weather on Despierta America ("Wake Up America"). This is one of the most popular TV shows for the Hispanic community in the United States. She also gave the weather forecast for Univision's afternoon news show Primer Impacto ("First Impact"). She also studied journalism at the University of Florida. Since January 9, 2017, she has been a co-anchor for Primer Impacto alongside Pamela Silva Conde.
Dancing on TV!
In 2004, Jackie Guerrido was named the "Good Will Ambassador" for the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City. She is a mother to two teenagers, Thomas and Adieny. On April 19, 2008, Jackie married reggaeton singer Don Omar in Puerto Rico.
In 2010, Jackie took part in Mira Quien Baila!, a reality show that aired on Univision in the United States. This show is the American/Spanish-speaking version of Dancing with the Stars. The show's final episode was on November 21, 2010. Jackie came in 2nd place after a popular vote. She was awarded $10,000 (US), which she generously donated to the "Casa Protegida Julia de Burgos", a special home that helps families.
