Jade Bahr (born December 28, 1988) is an American politician who was a member of the Montana House of Representatives. She represented District 50 from 2019 to 2021 as a member of the Democratic Party. The House of Representatives is a part of the government where elected officials, called representatives, create and vote on laws for their state.

Early Life and Education
Jade Bahr was born in Crow Agency, Montana, and grew up in the city of Billings, Montana. She is an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne tribe.
During her childhood, she attended Billings Senior High School. In the summers, she lived with her grandparents on the Crow Indian Reservation. After graduating from high school, Bahr went to the University of Montana. There, she studied sociology, which is the study of how people live and behave in groups. She focused on social justice and understanding inequality.
Career in Social Services
Before entering politics, Bahr worked in jobs that helped people in her community. Her interest in helping others began when she worked as a receptionist for a foster-care group for Native American youth.
She continued to work with young people in programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters and at summer camps. She also worked as a mental health support worker at the Urban Indian Health and Wellness Center. Later, she helped adults with disabilities find jobs and live more independently.
Political Career
As a representative in the Montana legislature, Bahr served on several committees. Committees are small groups of lawmakers who focus on specific topics like education, health, or state administration. Her committees for the 2019-2020 session were:
