Jade Bahr (born December 28, 1988) is a politician from the Democratic Party. She served as a representative for District 50 in the Montana House of Representatives. Her time in office was from 2019 to 2021.

Early Life and Education
Jade Bahr was born in Crow Agency, Montana. She grew up in Billings, Montana. She attended Billings Senior High School.
During her summers, she spent time on the Crow Indian Reservation with her grandparents. After high school, she went to the University of Montana in Missoula. There, she earned a degree in sociology. This field of study focuses on how people live and interact in groups.
Jade Bahr is also a member of the Northern Cheyenne tribe.
Working to Help Others
Jade Bahr became interested in helping people after working at a foster-care network. This network supported Native American young people. She continued to work with programs for young people who needed help.
She worked for groups like Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also helped at New Day Youth Group home. She worked with summer camps and after-school programs in Missoula.
She also worked as a mental health support worker. This was at the Urban Indian Health and Wellness Center. Later, she helped adults with disabilities. She assisted them with living independently and finding jobs.
Becoming a Politician
Jade Bahr decided to run for office to help her community. When she was a representative, she worked on several important committees. These included Human Services and State Administration. Committees are groups of lawmakers who study specific topics.
In 2018, she ran for election and won. She had support from many groups. These included the Democratic Socialists of America and the AFL–CIO.
In 2020, she ran for re-election but did not win. Mallerie Stromswold won the election that year.
Laws Jade Bahr Helped Create
During her time in the legislature, Jade Bahr helped create several new laws. She sponsored five bills, and three of them became law. Sponsoring a bill means she introduced the idea for a new law.
