Jade Boho Sayo (born August 30, 1986), often called Jade Boho or just Jade, is a former professional footballer. She played as a forward, which means she was usually trying to score goals! Jade played for many clubs, mostly in Spain, but also in England and Switzerland. She was born and grew up in Spain. Her father was Spanish, and her mother was from Equatorial Guinea. Because of this, Jade played for both Spain's under-19 team and Equatorial Guinea's senior national team.

Jade Boho's Early Life

Jade Boho was born in Valladolid, Spain. Her mother was from Equatorial Guinea, and her father was Spanish. Jade moved to Madrid when she was very young, at just three months old. She considers Madrid her home.

Jade Boho's Club Career

Jade spent most of her career playing for different football clubs. She was a very important player for her teams.

Playing Football in Spain

Jade started her club career in Spain. She played for AD Torrejón CF and then for Rayo Vallecano. With Rayo Vallecano, she had a lot of success. She helped them win the Spanish Championship three times! They also won the national cup once. Playing for Rayo Vallecano, Jade also got to play in the UEFA Women's Champions League, which is a big competition for top clubs in Europe.

After her time at Rayo Vallecano, Jade also played for Atlético Madrid, Madrid CFF, Logroño, and Alhama CF in Spain.

Playing Football in England

In 2015, Jade moved to England to play for Bristol Academy. The team was struggling at the time, but Jade quickly became a key player. Her coach even called her "inspirational" because she scored many goals.

After Bristol Academy was moved down to a lower league, Jade joined Reading for the 2016 season. However, she decided to return to Madrid later that year.

Playing Football in Switzerland

Later in her career, Jade also played for Servette in Switzerland. This shows she played football in many different countries!

Jade Boho's International Career

Because Jade's parents were from different countries, she had the chance to play for either Spain or Equatorial Guinea.

Playing for Spain U19

Jade played for the Spanish Under-19 team. She helped them win the 2004 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship. In the final match against Germany, Jade scored the first goal! She also played in the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship, scoring two goals.

Playing for Equatorial Guinea

From 2010, Jade became a member of the Equatorial Guinean senior team. There was a small problem because FIFA (the world football organization) had her listed as a Spanish player. This caused a temporary suspension, meaning she couldn't play for a short time.

However, Jade later returned to play for Equatorial Guinea. She helped them win the 2012 African Women's Championship, which is a huge achievement for her country!
