Jamar Dixon, born on June 5, 1989, is a Canadian who used to play professional soccer. He was a Midfielder on the field. After retiring from playing, he started working for Canadian Premier League club Pacific FC. He is now their Manager of Football and Player Development.

Playing Career Highlights
Jamar Dixon had an exciting career playing soccer in different countries. He played for several clubs before joining teams in Canada. Let's look at his journey.
Starting in Europe
Playing in Sweden
Dixon started his professional soccer journey in Sweden in 2013. He joined a team called BW 90 IF. In his very first game with the club, he scored a goal! This was a great start to his career.
Moving to Finland
In 2014, Jamar moved from Sweden to Finland. He first played for TP-47. Later that year, he joined another Finnish team, Jippo.
In 2015, Dixon signed with FF Jaro, a team in Finland's top soccer league. He played his first game for them in February during the Finnish Cup. His first league game was in April, which ended in a 1–1 tie. Jamar scored his first goal in the top league in May. Unfortunately, FF Jaro finished last that season and moved down to a lower league for 2016.
Returning to Canada
Playing for Ottawa Fury
On July 20, 2016, Jamar Dixon came back to Canada. He signed with the Ottawa Fury, a team in the North American Soccer League. He played his first game for them just a week later.
In November 2016, the Fury announced that Jamar would stay with the team. The club then moved to a new league, the United Soccer League, for the 2017 season. In June 2017, Jamar scored his first goal for the Ottawa Fury. He was even named the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the 2017 season! He continued to play for the Fury until the club stopped operating after the 2019 season.
Becoming Captain at Pacific FC
On January 21, 2020, Dixon joined Pacific FC, a team in the Canadian Premier League. He played his first game for them in August. Before the 2021 season, Jamar was chosen to be the team captain. This was a big honor!
In 2021, Pacific FC won the Canadian Premier League championship. Jamar played a key role in this victory. He signed a new contract in January 2022. In September 2022, Pacific FC announced that Jamar would retire from playing soccer at the end of the season.
Life After Playing
After retiring as a player, Jamar Dixon didn't leave soccer. Pacific FC announced that he would join their front office. He now works as their Manager of Football and Player Development. In this role, he helps develop new players and manages the club's soccer operations.
Playing for Canada
Jamar Dixon also had the chance to play for his country. He made his first appearance for the Canadian national team on February 5, 2016. This was in a friendly game against the United States. Later in 2016, he was called up again to play in important games for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
