Jamareo "Jam" Artis is an American bass guitarist. He is best known for playing bass for the famous pop star Bruno Mars. Jam also became well-known after winning P. Diddy's TV show, MTV Making His Band, in 2009.

Jamareo Artis has been a big part of many hit songs and performances. In 2014, he recorded the song "Uptown Funk" with Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. This song was a huge success, staying at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 14 weeks!
