Jamay is a lively municipality and town located in the eastern part of Jalisco, Mexico. It sits at about 1,530 meters (or 5,020 feet) above sea level. This makes it a place with a nice, elevated view!
Jamay covers an area of 174.49 square kilometers. That's about 0.14% of the entire state of Jalisco. It's a growing area, known for its friendly community and fun events.
Where is Jamay Located?
Jamay is surrounded by other interesting places. To the north, you'll find the municipalities of Ocotlán and La Barca. La Barca also borders Jamay to the east and south. To the south, Jamay also touches the state of Michoacán and Ocotlán. To the west, it's next to Ocotlán and the beautiful Lake Chapala.

What Makes Jamay Special?
