James Edward Fauntleroy II (born May 16, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He comes from Inglewood, California. He is well-known for writing songs and singing on tracks for many famous artists. These artists include Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Drake, J. Cole, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake. James Fauntleroy has won multiple Grammy Awards for his songwriting.

Early Songwriting Success

In 2007, James Fauntleroy wrote five songs for Chris Brown's album Exclusive. Two years later, in 2009, he helped write six songs for Rihanna's album Rated R.
