James Rees (born on 15 July 1987) is a funny Australian comedian. He used to be a children's entertainer. Many people know him as Jimmy Giggle. He played this role on the ABC Kids show Giggle and Hoot. He was on the show from 2009 to 2020.

James Rees was born in Frankston, Victoria. He grew up in Mount Eliza, Victoria. When he was 22, he moved to the Central Coast in New South Wales. This move was for his role as Jimmy Giggle. The Giggle and Hoot show was filmed in Sydney.
