James Frank Rowson was born on September 12, 1976. He is an American professional baseball coach. Currently, he works as the hitting coach for the New York Yankees. James Rowson's Playing Days
James Rowson grew up in Mount Vernon, New York. He went to Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx, a part of New York City. In 1994, the Seattle Mariners chose him in the MLB draft. He played minor league baseball from 1995 to 1997. He played for the Mariners' and New York Yankees' minor league teams. In 1998, he played for the Cook County Cheetahs. Coaching Career in Baseball
