Jamestown is a small town, also called a borough, located in northwestern Mercer County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It sits right along the Shenango River. In 2020, about 580 people lived here. Jamestown is part of the larger Hermitage area.

History of Jamestown
This town was started in 1798 by a person named James Campbell. Later, in 1853, it officially became a borough.
The students in Jamestown go to schools within the Jamestown Area School District. The town is also home to Combined Systems, Inc., a company that makes special equipment for defense and safety.
A very old and important building in Jamestown, called the Gibson House, was added to the list of historic places in 1978. This means it's a special building that people want to protect and remember.
For fun, many people visit Pymatuning Deer Park. It's like a small zoo where you can see animals, and even pet some in a special petting zoo area. There's also an interactive bird cage where you can get close to birds!
Another important business in town is Jamestown Coating Technologies. This company makes high-quality paints and coatings that are used all over the world. Many local people work there.
