Jana Kramer was born on December 2, 1983, in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Her parents are Nora and Martin Kramer. Her father has German roots. Jana went to Rochester Adams High School. She can speak some German. She has an older brother named Steve. He works as a sergeant at the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. After her parents divorced, she lived in Dearborn, Michigan for a while. When she was 18, she moved to California for two years. Later, she moved to Tennessee.
