Jarius Jessereel Wynn, born on August 29, 1986, is a former American football player. He played as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). The Green Bay Packers chose him in the 2009 NFL draft. He even won a Super Bowl ring with them in Super Bowl XLV. Before the NFL, he played college football at the University of Georgia. Jarius also played for other teams like the Tennessee Titans, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and Buffalo Bills.

Early Life and High School Football
Jarius Wynn grew up in Augusta, Georgia. He went to Lincoln County High School. In 2003, he was named a top offensive lineman in his state. The next year, in 2004, he was recognized as a top defensive lineman.
College Football Journey
After high school, Wynn attended Georgia Military College. In 2006, he was a team captain and the best defensive player. He made 21 tackles and helped force four fumbles. Experts thought he was the best junior college defensive tackle in the country.
In January 2007, Wynn joined the University of Georgia. He played in 13 games that season. He made 9 tackles and had one sack. In 2008, he played in 13 more games, starting 12 of them. He recorded 24 tackles and 3 sacks for the team.
Professional Football Career
Playing for the Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers picked Jarius Wynn in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL draft. He was the 182nd player chosen overall.
In 2010, the Packers released Wynn before the season started. However, a teammate got injured, so the Packers signed Wynn again. He helped the team win Super Bowl XLV that season. On August 27, 2012, the Packers released him again.
Time with Other NFL Teams
After leaving the Packers, Wynn signed with the Tennessee Titans on November 7, 2012. He played for them for a short time.
On April 3, 2013, Wynn joined the San Diego Chargers. He played in 5 games and made 3 tackles and one sack. The Chargers released him on October 8, 2013.
A week later, on October 15, 2013, the Dallas Cowboys signed Wynn. They needed help on their defensive line because of injuries. He mostly played as a backup player. He finished with 12 tackles and one sack for the Cowboys.
Wynn signed with the Buffalo Bills on April 8, 2014. He played well, getting 2 sacks and helping pressure the opposing quarterback. Because of his good play, the Bills signed him to a new contract in 2015. However, he tore a ligament in his knee during a preseason game. This injury ended his 2015 season.
The Buffalo Bills released Wynn on May 2, 2016. He officially announced his retirement from professional football in 2017.
Personal Life and Family
Jarius Wynn is married to Martavia. They have two sons, Jarius Jr. and Jeremiah, and a daughter named Jasiah. Jarius Jr. was born on the same morning that his dad played in Super Bowl XLV. Jarius Wynn is also the cousin of former NFL player Garrison Hearst.
