Jaye Jacobs (born on May 27, 1982) is an English actress. She is famous for playing Donna Jackson in the BBC medical shows Holby City and Casualty. Jaye also played Sian Diamond, a deputy headteacher, in the BBC school drama Waterloo Road.

Early Life and Education
Jaye Jacobs was born in Bristol, England. She grew up in Somerset. She went to Crispin School and was even a deputy head girl there.
Jaye loved dancing and took classes at the Joy Tinney School. She performed in their yearly musicals, like playing the Lion in The Wizard of Oz. Later, she studied acting at the Arts Educational School in London.

Starting Out in Television
In 2003, Jaye Jacobs played a character named Alice in Perfectly Frank. This was a spin-off show from the popular series EastEnders.
Playing Donna Jackson in Holby City
In 2004, Jaye joined the cast of the BBC medical drama Holby City. She played Donna Jackson, a fun-loving nurse who later became a Ward Sister. Jaye left the show in 2011. However, she returned to play Donna Jackson again in June 2017 and continued until 2022.
Dancing on Strictly Come Dancing
In autumn 2005, Jaye Jacobs took part in the third series of Strictly Come Dancing. She danced with professional partner Andrew Cuerden. They were eliminated in the second week of the competition and finished in 11th place.
Teaching in Waterloo Road
After leaving Holby City, Jaye joined another BBC drama called Waterloo Road. This show was about a school. Jaye played Sian Diamond, who was a new Deputy Headteacher and Science Teacher in the seventh series. Jaye decided to leave the show in 2012, and her last episode aired on February 28, 2013.
Amber in Millie Inbetween
From October 2014 to March 2018, Jaye Jacobs played Amber in the CBBC children's television program Millie Inbetween. When she returned to Holby City, she appeared less often in Millie Inbetween.
Other Roles and Projects
In 2015, Jaye appeared in an episode of the ITV drama Midsomer Murders. She played Police Constable Carolyn Florrie. She also voiced a character named Amaya in the fifth episode of the video game Game of Thrones.
In 2022, it was announced that Jaye Jacobs would be one of the presenters in the first-ever show of Great British Bake Off: The Musical.
In March 2023, it was shared that Jaye would play Donna Jackson again. This time, she returned to Holby City's sister show, Casualty. She joined a group of new nurses on the show.
