Jaye Jacobs (born Emma Jaye Jacobs on May 27, 1982) is an English actress. She is famous for playing Donna Jackson in the BBC medical TV shows Holby City and Casualty. Jaye also played Sian Diamond, a deputy headteacher, in the BBC school drama Waterloo Road.

Early Life and Education
Jaye Jacobs was born in Bristol, England. She grew up in Somerset. Jaye went to Crispin School, where she was even a deputy head girl.
She loved dancing and took classes at the Joy Tinney School of Dancing. There, she performed in many yearly musicals. One of her roles was playing the Lion in The Wizard of Oz. After school, she trained to be an actress at the Arts Educational School in London.
Jaye Jacobs' Acting Career
Jaye Jacobs started her acting career in 2003. She played a character named Alice in Perfectly Frank. This was a spin-off show from the popular TV series EastEnders.
Becoming Donna Jackson
In 2004, Jaye joined the cast of the BBC medical drama Holby City. She played the role of Donna Jackson, a fun-loving nurse who later became a Ward Sister. Jaye left Holby City in 2011. However, she returned to play Donna Jackson again in June 2017. She continued in the role until 2022.
Dancing on TV
In 2005, Jaye appeared on the third series of Strictly Come Dancing. This is a popular show where celebrities learn to ballroom dance with professional partners. Jaye danced with Andrew Cuerden. They were eliminated in the second week and finished in 11th place.
Life at Waterloo Road
Soon after leaving Holby City in 2011, Jaye joined another BBC drama. This time, it was the school-based show Waterloo Road. She played Sian Diamond, the new Deputy Headteacher and Science Teacher. Jaye decided to leave the show in 2012. Her last episode aired on February 28, 2013.
Other TV Roles
From 2014 to 2018, Jaye Jacobs played Amber in the CBBC children's TV show Millie Inbetween. Because she returned to Holby City, she appeared less often in the fourth series of Millie Inbetween.
In 2015, Jaye also appeared in an episode of the ITV drama Midsomer Murders. She played a police officer named Carolyn Florrie. She also lent her voice to a character named Amaya in the video game Game of Thrones.
Recent Work
In 2022, it was announced that Jaye Jacobs would be part of a new musical. She would play one of the presenters in the world premiere of Great British Bake Off: The Musical.
In March 2023, fans were excited to hear that Jaye would play Donna Jackson again. This time, she returned to Holby City's sister show, Casualty. She joined a group of new nurses on the show.
