Jayo Felony's Music Career
Jayo Felony started his music journey in 1994. He signed with Jam Master Jay Records. This record label was owned by Jam Master Jay from the famous group Run-DMC.
Early Albums and Success
In 1994, Jayo Felony released his first album. It was called Take a Ride. A few years later, in 1998, he released his next album. This album was named Whatcha Gonna Do?. It came out on Def Jam, a big record label. Many other well-known rappers joined him on this album. These included Method Man, DMX, Ice Cube, and Redman.
Later Releases and Acting
In 1999, Jayo Felony released another album. It was titled Underground. There was talk of a fourth album, Hotter Than Fish Grease, in 2000. However, this album was not released. His fourth studio album, ... Hop, came out in 2001. It also featured many guest artists.
Jayo Felony's fifth album was released in late 2019. It was self-titled James Savage. This album came out on the Open Bar Entertainment label. In the same year, he also started acting. He appeared in the WorldStarHipHop mini-series Broken Ground.
