Jean Lucas (born April 25, 1917 – died September 27, 2003) was a French racing driver. He was known for his speed and skill on the track. Jean Lucas took part in one special Formula One race in 1955.
He was also the manager for the Gordini racing team. When one of their regular drivers couldn't race, Jean Lucas bravely stepped in. He drove in the 1955 Italian Grand Prix. Sadly, his car had an engine problem, and he had to stop early. Because of this, he didn't score any championship points in Formula One.

Jean Lucas had his best racing moments in sports car races. He drove powerful Ferrari cars. In 1949, he won exciting races at places like Spa-Francorchamps and Montlhéry. These were big wins for him!
