Jeff Roches is an American actor. He is well known for his work with director Sean Weathers. Jeff is the youngest of six children. Before acting, he studied classical music for six years. He also wrote fifteen short stories by the age of 18. In 2000, he composed a four-minute symphony. It used drums, flute, violin, trumpet, and cello. A year later, he decided to focus on other interests. From 2001 to 2003, he performed as a "hype-man" for rapper Timothy Dark. They performed in many clubs, including CBGB's.
Jeff Roches' Acting Career
Jeff Roches began his acting career in 2001. His leg was shown in a public service announcement for 'NY Youth'. This project, along with some short films, started his long career. He acted in several films in 2003 and 2004. One of these roles led him to the film The Fix. This was an experimental film by Aswad Issa. An experimental film tries new and unusual ways of telling a story. The Fix took six years to make. It grew from shorter films shot in 2003 and 2004. The full movie was released in 2011.
In 2009, Roches played "Snake" in Surviving the Streets. This film was directed by Adam Litwinski. It was shown at the 'New York International Film Festival'. Also in 2009, Roches starred in the short film Course. Michael Shanon directed this film. It was featured at the 'Queens International 2009 Film Festival'.
