Jeff Roches is an American actor known for his roles in movies directed by Sean Weathers. He is the youngest of six children and has a background in both music and writing.
Before becoming an actor, Jeff studied classical music for six years. When he was 18, he finished the first of fifteen short stories he would write. He also wrote articles about his thoughts on life. In 2000, he even composed a four-minute piece of music for an orchestra, using instruments like drums, the flute, violin, trumpet, and cello.
Even though he decided not to pursue a full-time music career, he was a hype-man for the rapper 'Timothy Dark' from 2001 to 2003. A hype-man helps get the crowd excited during a performance. He performed in various clubs, including the famous CBGB's.
Acting Career
Jeff's acting journey began in 2001 with a public service announcement and a few short films. In 2002, he successfully auditioned for 'Full Circle Films'. This led to his first major role in the movie They All Must Die! directed by Sean Weathers.
He continued to work with Weathers and starred in several other films in 2003 and 2004. One of these roles led him to be cast in an experimental film called The Fix, directed by Aswad Issa. An experimental film is a movie that tries new and creative ways of storytelling. The Fix was a long project that took six years to complete.
In 2009, Jeff played a character named "Snake" in the movie Surviving the Streets, which was shown at the New York International Film Festival. That same year, he also starred in a short film called Course, which was part of the 'Queens International Film Festival'.
