Jenna Mourey was born and grew up in Rochester, New York. Later, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts. There, she went to Suffolk University. She earned a degree in psychology. Then, she went to Boston University. She got a master's degree in sport psychology and counseling.
In the summer of 2010, Jenna lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She shared an apartment with others. She worked as a bartender and at a tanning salon. She also started making vlogs, which are video blogs. That year, she began working for Barstool Sports. She wrote for their website called StoolLaLa. She left that job in 2011.
Jenna Marbles' YouTube Journey
Jenna Marbles started her YouTube channel in 2010. That same year, she made a funny video. It was called "How to Trick People into Thinking You're Good Looking." This video quickly became very popular. In its first week, it got about 5.3 million views. Today, that video has over 70 million views! Another one of her videos, "How to Avoid Talking to People You Don't Want to Talk To," was even mentioned. It appeared in The New York Times and ABC News in 2011.
