Jeremiah Jordan Rivers (born July 27, 1987) is an American who used to play professional basketball. He played college basketball at two different universities. First, he played for Georgetown University. Later, he transferred to Indiana University. Before college, he went to Winter Park High School in Florida. Jeremiah is the son of Doc Rivers, a famous former NBA player and coach. He is also the older brother of Austin Rivers, who also played in the NBA.

Playing Professional Basketball
After finishing college, Jeremiah Rivers started his professional basketball career.
Joining Mega Vizura
In August 2011, he signed with a team called KK Mega Vizura. This team is from Serbia, a country in Europe. Jeremiah played 14 games for them. He scored about 6.2 points in each game.
Dealing with Injuries
In January 2012, Jeremiah hurt his ankle. This injury was serious, and he missed the rest of the 2011–12 season. He had to have surgery on both of his ankles to fix them.
NBA Summer League Experience
After recovering from his surgeries, Jeremiah got a chance to play in the 2012 Las Vegas NBA Summer League. This is a special event where NBA teams watch new players and players trying to get back into the league. He played four games with the New York Knicks. In these games, he averaged 3.5 points and 1.8 rebounds.

His younger brother, Austin, used to play in the NBA and is now a basketball analyst. His youngest brother, Spencer, played college basketball for UC Irvine.
