Jeremy Ray Valdez, born on July 10, 1980, is an American actor and musician. He is known for his roles in movies and TV shows. In 2010, he won an Imagen Award for his acting in the movie La Mission.

Jeremy Ray Valdez was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1980. His father has Mexican family roots. His mother is from the Navajo tribe.
Acting Career
Valdez started his acting journey by appearing in TV commercials. You might have seen him in ads for big companies like Coca-Cola, McDonald's, and Toys "R" Us. His first TV show role was in The Brothers Garcia.
Jeremy has appeared in many popular TV shows. He had recurring roles in shows like ER, Veronica Mars, and Drake & Josh. He also made guest appearances in shows such as NCIS, 24, CSI: NY, and That's So Raven.
One of his important roles was in the HBO TV movie Walkout. In this film, directed by Edward James Olmos, Valdez played Robert Avila. Robert was an undercover police officer pretending to be a high school student. The movie tells the true story of Mexican-American high school students in East Los Angeles who organized a walkout in 1968. They protested against poor school conditions.
Valdez also starred in the movie Junkyard Saints, which was shown on the PBS series Independent Lens. In 2013, he played Adan in the film Blaze You Out.
Success with La Mission
In 2010, Jeremy starred in the independent film La Mission. He played the character Jesse Rivera. His performance earned him a 2010 IMAGEN Award for "Best Supporting Actor". The movie also starred Benjamin Bratt and was shown at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
Jeremy continued to find success at Sundance. In 2011, his film Benavides Born was also chosen to premiere at the festival. This meant he had a film at Sundance two years in a row! He also starred alongside Charles S. Dutton in the film "The Obama Effect".
In March 2018, Valdez joined the cast of the TV show The Bold and the Beautiful. He plays Detective Alex Sanchez on the show.
