Jess French is a British television presenter, veterinarian, and author. She is well-known for hosting the TV show Minibeast Adventure with Jess on CBeebies. Jess French has also become famous for writing books about nature and conservation for children.

TV Career
Jess French has worked on many TV shows as a wildlife expert. She is especially good with small creatures like insects, often called "creepy-crawlies." She has appeared on shows such as Live 'n' Deadly (on CBBC), Deadly Mission Madagascar, Springwatch (on BBC), and Micro Monsters 3D (on Sky).
Since April 2014, she has presented her own show, Minibeast Adventure with Jess. This show has twenty episodes, each about nine minutes long, and airs on the Cbeebies channel. She has also been a guest on other programs like The Pets Factor, BBC Breakfast, Sunday Brunch, and Springwatch. In 2019, she was featured on the podcast Trees A Crowd with David Oakes.
Books
Jess French has written many non-fiction books. These books are all about animals, nature, and protecting our environment. In August 2020, she released her very first picture book.
Jess French was chosen as one of the authors for World Book Day in 2021. Her book for this event was called 'Protect the Planet', published by DK (publisher). Here are some of the books she has written:

Awards
In 2010, Jess French received the Jane Goodall Global Youth Leadership award. She won this award for starting a program that taught children about environmental issues.
In 2015, BBC Wildlife magazine included Jess French on their Power List. She was ranked number 43 among conservation heroes.
Her book, 'Fluttering Minibeast Adventures', was also nominated for the 2017 Educational Writers' Award.
Education and Interests
Jess French has lived in many different places around the world, including Chile and Thailand. She grew up in Norfolk, England, and went to Norwich School. She earned a top degree in zoology from University College London. While there, she volunteered a lot. She won awards for teaching children about conservation and for starting a sign language club.
Later, she earned her degree in veterinary medicine and surgery from the University of Nottingham. She specializes in working with primates, like monkeys and apes. She hopes to become a gorilla vet in the future. Jess can speak fluent Spanish and also knows British Sign Language.
