Her Athletic Journey
Jesseca went to the University of Wyoming. She first went there on a basketball scholarship. Later, she became known for her throwing skills. She even competed for the United States in the 2000 Summer Olympics. These Olympic Games were held in Sydney, Australia. Jesseca competed in both the hammer throw and the shot put events. She worked hard but did not move past the first round in either event.
Recognitions and Coaching
In 2002, Jesseca was honored for her sports achievements. She was inducted into the Wyoming Sports Hall of Fame. This means her athletic career was recognized as very special. Later, in the fall of 2007, Jesseca helped out as a coach. She was the temporary head coach for the women's volleyball team at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming.
