Jessica-Jane Stafford (born Clement, on 24 February 1985) is an English actress and television presenter. She is well-known for her role in the BBC show The Real Hustle, which she starred in from 2006 to 2012. She also worked as a model.

Early Life and Education

Jessica-Jane Clement was born in Sheffield, England. Her mother is Jane Clement, and her father is Richard Clement.

She went to High Storrs School in Sheffield. Later, she studied Performing Arts and Psychology at The Sheffield College. She continued her studies at the Dartington College of Arts and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

Starting as a Model

Jessica-Jane began her career as a successful model. She appeared in music videos for several songs. These included You and Me by Uniting Nations, All the Way by Craig David, and I see Girls by Studio B.

Since 2010, she has also been a spokesperson for the grooming product company Lynx. She helped promote their Lynx Rise range.

TV Shows and Movies

Jessica-Jane's acting journey started when she was just 15 years old in 2000. She was discovered and cast in her first short movie. After that, she performed in several theatre plays, such as Threepenny Opera and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

From 2006, Jessica-Jane starred in the BBC TV series The Real Hustle. This show was a spin-off from the BBC drama Hustle. On the show, she worked with Alex Conran and Paul Wilson. They showed viewers how different confidence tricks, magic tricks, and distraction scams work. Their goal was to help people avoid being fooled by these tricks. Jessica-Jane appeared in all 106 episodes across eleven series until 2012. She also starred in special episodes like The 12 Scams Of Christmas and The Real Hustle Around the World.

She also had other acting roles. She played Cindi Marshall in Sky TV's Dream Team for two series from 2005 to 2007. In 2005, she played the Jade Dragon escort in the film Moussaka & Chips.

In November 2008, Jessica-Jane took part in the BBC Three show Celebrity Scissorhands. This show helped raise money for Children in Need. In 2009, she appeared in Doghouse, a British zombie comedy movie. She also joined the cast of the long-running British hospital drama Casualty, playing Jackie, a new paramedic.

From 13 November 2011, Jessica-Jane was a contestant on the eleventh series of ITV's reality television show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. She stayed in the jungle for fifteen days and was voted out on 28 November 2011.

In 2016, Jessica-Jane played Jasmine in the comedy Gangsters, Gamblers and Geezers. She also starred in Redwood, a horror film about vampires.

In 2017, she filmed several movies: Order Of Kings: The Dark Kingdom, a medieval fantasy drama, the horror movie Black Site, and the dark comedy Dead Ringer.

In 2022, Jessica-Jane had a supporting role in the MTV television film All I Didn’t Want for Christmas. She played an Elven boss at Santa Claus’s workshop. In 2023, she made a brief appearance with her husband in the finals of The Apprentice (British series 17).

Personal Life

On 17 February 2013, Jessica-Jane married hairdresser Lee Stafford. They have four children together. Their first child, a son named Angel, was born in June 2014. Their second child, a daughter named Elvis Annie-Jane, was born in January 2016. In April 2017, they welcomed their third child, a girl named Sugar May. Their fourth child, a son named Valentine Love, was born in February 2020.

Jessica-Jane is also a strong supporter of animal rights. She has worked with PETA and has spoken out against testing cosmetics on animals.

Hearing Loss Awareness

When Jessica-Jane was 20 years old, she suddenly lost hearing in her right ear. In 2012, she was fitted with a special hearing device called a Phonak Lyric. Since then, she has become an ambassador for Phonak. She helps to raise awareness about hearing loss and supports others who experience it.
