Jessica Renee Williams (born July 31, 1989) is an American actress and comedian. She is known for her roles in popular TV shows and movies. Jessica was a senior correspondent on The Daily Show. She also played Lally Hicks in the Fantastic Beasts movies. You might also know her as Gaby in the TV show Shrinking.

Early Life and First Roles
Jessica Renee Williams was born in Los Angeles County, California. When she was in high school, she loved being part of the drama club. Her acting skills really grew there.
In 2006, Jessica got her first big TV role. She was a regular on the Nickelodeon show Just for Kicks. Later, in 2012, she became the youngest correspondent ever on The Daily Show. She also went to college at California State University, Long Beach.
Career Highlights
Jessica made her first appearance on The Daily Show in January 2012. She often performs comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. This is a famous place for comedians to practice and perform.
Jessica also appeared in a few episodes of the HBO show Girls. In 2017, she starred in the Netflix comedy movie The Incredible Jessica James. In this movie, she played a writer living in Brooklyn who was looking for her big break.
A big part of her career has been in the Fantastic Beasts film series. She played Lally Hicks, a teacher from Ilvernorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You can see her in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
More recently, in 2023, Jessica was a main character in the Apple TV+ show Shrinking. Her performance in this show was so good that she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.
